FAUX FRECKLES

Freckle tattooing, also known as cosmetic freckle tattooing or faux freckles, is a cosmetic procedure that involves tattooing small, semi-permanent freckles onto the skin. This is done using a hand held tattoo needle to apply ink to the skin, creating small dots that resemble natural freckles.

I use a method similar to a "stick and poke" tattoo in order to have more control and give the freckles a more natural look as they heal and settle into the skin.

Like with any permanent makeup procedure, there is a possibility of discomfort. However, I do provide a topical numbing agent if you would like. I personally, have had it done without numbing and it isn’t too bad!

The pigment used is semi-permanent that is designed to fade over time. The freckle tattooing process can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the number and size of freckles desired. For the first few days, the freckles will appear darker in color then once they have flaked and healed, they soften and lighten to look more natural.
